Virex 7.5 = useless
From the readme file for Virex 7.5.1:
Features Excluded From This Release
Scan Contents of Mailboxes -- This Preferences feature of Virex 7.5.0 has been removed from Virex 7.5.1. This product is not meant to be utilized for scanning mails and mailboxes.

So, in other words, if you want antivirus protection to help keep you from passing e-mail viruses on to your pc-using friends, Virex 7.5.1 is completely useless. I guess I'm in the market for a new anti-virus program...

Be A Firemonger
Uninterrupted iTunes Music Store Playback
"After some initial problems, the Firemonger project is now finally ready. The goal of the project is to create CD images which contain Firefox and which users can download, burn and give away to friends and family. The first CD is now available and includes Firefox, Thunderbird and various plugins, extensions and themes."

Uninterrupted iTunes Music Store Playback
My great software find for the day is the iTunes Music Store Player. It's especially useful with user-contributed iMixes. For example, I just discovered The Samples (think 'Police'). One user has contributed an iMix called 'The Samples Collection.' Once I have the iMix page in iTunes, I can listen to each 30 second clip without having to go back to iTunes to select the next track--iTunes Music Store Player advances iTunes to the next track automatically.
