Volcano Cam!
The U.S. Geological Survey has a web-cam surveilling Mount St. Helens---VolcanoCam!
"This is an image of Mount St. Helens, taken from the Johnston Ridge Observatory. The Observatory and VolcanoCam are located at an elevation of approximately 4,500 feet, about five miles from the volcano. You are looking approximately south-southeast across the North Fork Toutle River Valley."

A9.com - Amazon's Trojan Horse
A9.com - Amazon's Trojan Horse:
"Trojan horses come in many shapes and sizes. While most computer users worry about the ones that can damage their files or harm their computers, other types of Trojan horses can sometimes have far more insidious, long-term consequences. The latest is Amazon.com's new search engine, A9.com."

The way to gain a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear. --Socrates

Strengthen The Good
There is a wonderful new effort by the folks at The Command Post to create a network of bloggers "who raise awareness of 'micro charities'charitable opportunities that are simple, personal, non-bureaucratic, and inspiring."
The charitable campaign is called Strengthen the Good. Alan Nelson has posted links to charities helping victims of Hurricane Charley in Florida here.
Bloggers who want to join the network can sign up here.
Please lend a helping hand and spread the word. As the group's slogan urges:
Don't just fight evil: Strengthen the good.
