Ode to teachers everywhere
NPR's Morning Edition had a wonderful piece on how much teacher affect our children's lives in a piece titled 'Ms. Patel: 3rd Grade Teacher Extraordinaire':
Video highlights of a school year full of innovative projects and activities gave commentator Steve Twomey a better understanding of why his son had been so devoted to his class. Twomey says Ms. Patel's third-grade class in Montclair, N.J., was his son's reason for living.
And so it was for our oldest son who just finished his Kindergarten year with Mrs. B here in Hershey.

Reason No. 9 why a 20" Cinema Display is Good
The latest reason why a 20" Cinema Display is cool it that on a weekend morning, my three year-old, Matthew, can watch Max & Ruby in Quicktime Player on one half, and I can check the news and add to my blog on the other half of the display. That's what I call 'quality time'.

The Sweetest Place On Earth
We live in Hershey, Pennsylvania; the 'sweetest place on earth.' The best candy maker in town (in my opinion) is not Hershey's, but our neighbor, Dale Ebling, who is kind enough to share his chocolate creations with us on occasion. Thanks, Dale!
